Privacy Policy
This site is static HTML. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and asks you for nothing. What follows is the short, honest version.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no account, no newsletter, no comment box and no tracking script. The only personal detail we ever hold is an email address you choose to write to us from, and we keep that only as long as it takes to answer you.
What our host records
Our web host keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser, page requested, time — for security and troubleshooting. That is ordinary for any website and we do not use those logs for advertising.
What happens when you follow a booking link
Booking links on this site lead to Viator or GetYourGuide. When you follow one, that platform sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy, which is theirs rather than ours. A tracking parameter in the link tells them the visit came from us, which is how the commission described on the affiliate disclosure page is attributed. It does not identify you to us.
The observation-deck ballot
We do not run it and we never see an application. The ballot is operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Central Wholesale Market on its own site, and anything you enter there is between you and the market.
The map
The map on the homepage does not load until you press the button. Nothing is requested from Google before that, which is deliberate.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Since we hold nothing unless you have emailed us, the answer is usually short. Write to hello@toyosufishmarkettours.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
